this is a space to shed a little light and share a little encouragement for the homeschooling parent. We’ve been calling ourselves a homeschool family for 5 years now, since my oldest was 4. [We have a tot nearing 2 years old, a 5-year-old, a 7-year-old, and a 9-year-old. Currently schooling Kinder, 2nd & 4th grade.] We use a mish-mash of different philosophies: Classical, Charlotte Mason, and Interest-led/Unschooling.

I’m Corazon Ballantine. Outside of homeschooling, I enjoy teaching childbirth classes, reading Louisa May Alcott & Zadie Smith, all things alternative health & trusting in the grace of God.
