Quarantine-School: Already Doing It

What’s already working for you?

I have been e-mailing out some homeschool helps this past week. It includes our curriculum, our schedule, books & kid’s magazine’s we love, and some general tips that help keep us on track.

Those things in the e-mail are what work for us. I recently had the thought that if I had received that e-mail as I was feeling my way through doing something new, I might think that I should change everything I’m doing to replicate what had proven to be successful for a family.

Nah.

I want to encourage you to take inventory of what’s already working in your home. How can you make what’s already feeling good in your family and rhythm and make THAT better.

You are the barometer for what’s working and what needs to be improved. No one else. How does your day make you feel in your bones? Does anxiety or does wonder reverberate out into your space? Our kids feel those reverberations, and begin vibrating at our pitch.

Shake it out. Take a good look. And continue doing what you’re already doing.
